The LEGO Group Launches New One Piece Sets
If there’s one thing that Netflix’s live-action series, One Piece, has taught us, it’s that you can achieve your dreams with a great team. Now, fans of the show can rally their own crew and build The LEGO Group’s new One Piece sets together. Available to preorder now, the line includes six sets that mirror characters, locations, and battles from the popular Season 2.
One Piece LEGO Sets for Kids Aged 9 and Up
Perfect for kids aged 9 and up, these sets offer the chance to journey across the Grand Line from the comfort of your living room. The LEGO sets include versions of beloved characters like Tony Tony Chopper, Dorry, Brogy, and more.
One Piece Characters and Locations in LEGO Form
The 577-piece Tony Tony Chopper set is a must-have for fans of the character. Standing at around 7.5 inches tall, the posable sea-faring doctor comes complete with his detachable blue backpack, a book, a syringe, a bottle with a rumble ball, and more.
For those interested in exploring Chopper’s backstory, there’s Dr. Hiriluk’s Hideout set. Builders can open the mountain to reveal the cozy interior just as seen in the TV show. The 271-piece set includes a table with medical equipment, books, a pirate flag, a fireplace, and additional furniture. It also comes with three minifigures that resemble Tony Tony Chopper, Dr. Hiriluk, and Dr. Kureha.
Recreating Iconic One Piece Battles with LEGO
With the Dorry vs. Brogy – Giants of Little Garden set, fans can bring to life the friendly giants from the series. This 733-piece set features fully jointed figures of Dorry and Brogy, complete with fabric capes and battle weapons. Recreate the Little Garden Arc with minifigures of Zoro, Usopp, Mr. 3 and his wax spear, Miss Goldenweek and her palette and brush, Mr. 13 and Miss Friday’s pretend shooters, a helmet and goggles, and a collapsing candelabra.
For those who prefer the show’s action-packed scenes, The Showdown with Captain Smoker set is a great choice. This 547-piece set offers features like the Loguetown market, including the katana store, recruitment center, and fish stall. Special components invoke Captain Smoker’s abilities while a lever allows for a Marine Office explosion. The set includes two secret dossier tiles and minifigures of Monkey D. Luffy, Sanji, Dragon, and Captain Smoker.
Build Garp’s Marine Battleship with LEGO
One cannot talk about One Piece without mentioning the iconic ships of the series. Garp’s Marine Battleship fits perfectly into the LEGO One Piece collection. The 1,705-piece building set features a ship that opens to reveal the map room and Garp’s office. It also comes with a dog figurehead, a foil flag, five foil sails, and eight minifigures.
Recreate the Final Battle Scene at Drum Castle
Complete your One Piece LEGO collection with the Battle at Drum Castle set. This 1,038-piece set has three levels: the first floor features a large fireplace, the second floor showcases Chopper’s laboratory and Nami’s hospital bed, and the third floor houses the iconic throne room. Fill the expanding fortress with a pirate flag, weapons, kitchenware, and four random dossiers. It also includes minifigures of the main characters from the final episode, including Monkey D. Luffy, Tony Tony Chopper, Nami, Vivi, Sanji, and Wapol.
Fans can preorder the sets now at LEGO.com. The collection officially launches on August 1 and will be available at LEGO store locations. And for those keen on more One Piece content, The LEGO Group has a special treat coming this fall. On Sept. 29, fans can watch the LEGO ONE PIECE animated special on Netflix. The two-part special is a retelling of the live-action series, complete with LEGO versions of the Straw Hat Pirates and more.
