Kids Will Hoot and Holler for These New ‘Toy Story 5’ Toys

Disney Prepares for the Launch of Toy Story 5

Disney is set to release the much-anticipated Toy Story 5 this summer. To build excitement ahead of the film’s premiere, Disney Consumer Products is collaborating with popular brands like Mattel, Hasbro, Funko, and The LEGO Group. These partnerships will result in a new collection of toys, games, and apparel inspired by the beloved characters of Toy Story, both old and new.

Mattel Introduces Interactive Toy Story 5 Characters

Disney has partnered with Mattel to create the Playscale Interactables. These five new toys, featuring characters Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Forky, and Lilypad, are designed to interact with each other. When these figures are placed near each other, they initiate conversations, providing endless entertainment for your little one.

Moreover, the Critter Talk Jessie Feature Figure can also interact with the accompanying Jimmy Dean the pig figure. Pulling the string on the back of the Running Woody Feature Figure triggers the character’s signature running motion and activates over 50 sounds and phrases.

Finally, Woody, Jessie, and Buzz can go on new adventures with Mattel’s Giddy-Up Bullseye RC. Kids can control Bullseye’s movements, making him gallop or shimmy, with the accompanying remote control.

Funko Releases New Toy Story 5 Figures

Funko has also joined the Toy Story bandwagon, releasing new figures that collectors can add to their Toy Story collection. These figures, which include Buzz, Jessie, Lilypad, and more, are available online at funko.com. In addition, Pop Mart will begin selling Toy Story 5 mystery box figures from April 30.

Hasbro Adds Toy Story Twist to Classic Toys

Hasbro is giving the classic Mr. Potato Head toy a Woody and Buzz-style makeover. The Potato Head Toy Story Woody Tater and the Potato Head Toy Story Buzz Spudyear offer the same fun as the original toy, but with a Toy Story twist. Hasbro also offers the Bop It! Buzz Lightyear toy for some out-of-this-world family game night fun.

Toy Story 5 Merchandise Beyond Toys

Aside from toys, Toy Story fans can also look forward to character-inspired luggage from Away, releasing on June 9. Loungefly is releasing backpacks, crossbody bags, and more featuring characters from the franchise, available on loungefly.com.

With the release date for Toy Story 5 getting closer, more movie-inspired collaborations are expected. For example, a new Toy Story LEGO set is soon to be added to their collection. Adorable crossbody bags from Miniso and new Crocs featuring Jessie and the arcade aliens will be released on June 16. Other collaborations include products from BoxLunch, Pandora, The Children’s Place, and more.

Toy Story 5 is set to hit theaters on June 19. In the meantime, fans can stream the first four films on Disney+ to catch up on the adventures of Woody and his friends.
